I’M IN LOVE!!!
Guest Relations - VanessaPublished August 18, 2011 at 7:08 pm 2 CommentsHello to all of my lovely Voluptuous Vixens!!! I’m backkkk…. It’s been a crazy fun summer and there is a lot to catch up on but I have to share some really exciting news. If you’ve read my blogs, you know that I’m not really one for long term relationships – usually if the guy is right, I figure out a reason to end it, and if the guy is wrong, I stick around until it ends slowly and painfully. I know, it’s totally twisted and I’m working on this.
Well my Voluptuous Vixens, today is a very important day. Today is my three year anniversary with Kiyonna – and OMG, I am in LOVE!
It’s so awesome to think of how much the company has evolved since I’ve been here. I LOVE working with such an inspiring team of smart women, I LOVE the way our clothing fits our curves and makes our customers (myself included) feel so great while wearing them. I also LOVE seeing our lovely customer’s pics on our Facebook Page. And I absolutely LOVE working daily with my Fabulous Boutique Owners. Taking Kiyonna to more stores worldwide gives me so much happiness, I can get teary eyed right now thinking about it.
I am very blessed to be here and to be able to write and share all of my Vannessa-isms with you and of course take in all of your advice and tips! I swear, the combination of this all has made me truly evolve these past few years. I’ve never been so confident in my own skin. And in my next blog, I’ll tell you how I even shock myself sometimes with this newfound confidence…. So today I am soaking it all in and devouring the delicious edible arrangement that Kim (our President and Passionate Founder) gave to me. –And yes, I did share with my Kiyonna girls- though it was so good I almost didn’t want to
So here’s to many more years to come…. Cheers! (As I toast my delicious pineapple-shaped as the number 3)
Xoxo, V

As a person who has yet to find a job or career path I’m truly happy with, it’s certainly refreshing to see someone who is IN LOVE with what they do. Thank you for the little bit of encouragement you’ve just given me.

I just found your site today, and the first thing I had to do was tell my sister about you! I am so excited to find such gorgeous, sexy(yet modest) clothes that are so flattering on larger women! As I have gained weight over the years, I always feel horrible about myself until I either make or buy clothing that fits & flatters my heavier body! I love that you use gorgeous & sexy voluptuous larger models, and then that you show “real curves” I think is how you put it, showing customers or yourselves in these incredibly gorgeous clothes! While I won’t be able to buy anything right away due to finances, you bet your britches I’m keeping your site on my bookmarks/favorites, & I think I added it to my Facebook page! (Not sure how that works yet, but I signed up for your emails too!) Thank you so very, very much for giving larger women credit for wanting to be sexy & beautiful too! The few times in life that I have seen large women in such breathtakingly beautiful clothes, I can’t stop myself from going up to these women & telling them how beautiful they are! Some of my biggest stresses in life have been not having clothing that fits my figure properly, because I’ve always had a large bosom & hips, & usually had a small waist, but the tilted pelvis that makes me look pregnant no matter how skinny I am. It is funny, but I have gradually learned to love my figure, although my herniated belly button makes me think I should try some of those Spanx high shapers, so I can still wear your gorgeous clothes! Please keep up the good work & incredibly inspired designs! By the way, do you have one special designer, or do you use several designers?
Also, I noticed somewhere that it said made in the U.S.A., and was wondering if you are always able to keep them made in the U.S.A.? I would love to see U.S.A. made items with a special little symbol or flag with them so we can see when we are supporting American jobs. I know we would still buy some outfits made elsewhere, due to the lower prices of items made elsewhere, but as it becomes harder & harder to support the American economy, we appreciate companies like yours that do their part! Thank you & keep up the FABULOUS work!
